WHEN DID I WRITE THIS?
I was going through some of my writings for my book and came across this poem that I really don't remember writing, so I thought I would share it with the all of you computer geeks who stumbeled over my website thinking it was a porn site (That's who's problie reading this)
"Parade Of Craziness"
by John Throne
Well once again the big partying baby comes to an end.
For some it's mother dies as well.
And as I lay once again on my bed I think about all the things I can't look at again.
A young women stands behind the desk dancing and singing,
thinking about the man that has her heart and about the engagement ring she thinks she will never get.
As a young man gets his lips percied from a women after a long toga party in the early 5am morning.
No more top dog peeing down a kids slide, smoking a cigarette, while his brothers look for cops driving by in the early night.
In a bar a man gets sexually hurased while singing a Crashtest Dummies song, while his freinds just stop and stair.
Friends go their own way.
Bar-fly's fly away.
Doors close for the last time.
and the alien goes back home.
And as we say good by to another year, we break out champaign, and listen to the loud music.
We talk about the year, and party with friends.
And we ask ourselves why did it all have to end.

Judging from two lines I would say it was 1998. The line refference to Day Without Oz and you reffering to yourself as the alien. But I like it.
no i think it was around 2000 or 2001 because tammi was thinking about the engagement ring and that was the time she was talking about getting married all the time
really weird...were you calling yourself the alien then though?
no, but I wrote this in 2001, 2000 but the stuff that i wrote about happened around 1998
I find it ironic that I went to nikki's blog and there was a story about a group of kids getting caught drinking in a park......hmmmmmmm
I don't remember drinking in the park. Atleast not until after midnight. That's when we let it all hang out.
