I HANG MY HEAD DOWN AND CRY

Tonight I hang my head down and shed a few tears in sadness for I saw the worst Jim Henson movie ever, from the creators of “Labyrinth“ and “Dark Crystal and Jim Henson Productions, “Mirror Mask” I hated this movie mostly because it was way to artsy. I mean it did have a little wizard of oz charm and you could see a little style of the labyrinth. Besides being so damn artsy, on of the other reasons I didn’t like it was because no matter how happy or how dark Jim Henson tried to make his movies he always had that childhood spark in them that made you feel (at any age) that the creatures no matter how ugly and mean they looked that you still wanted to give them a cuddly hug. Even the movies that have been made after the passing of the legend still carry that spark. This movie is surly a tragedy and a disappointment in the spirit of Jim Henson.
